New cav

Yeah thats right, I traded in my 01 cavalier for a 04 cavalier ls sport with the ecotec.

Here are some pics of it after I have added my lowering springs, tokico struts, and 18's.

Looks good, keep it clean. I'd say do some tint, and somehow black out some of that massive red light on the trunk.

The01Cav 02-24-2009 12:12 PM

I am gonna eliminate that red bezel with a carbon fiber tail bezel and a different set of tails, along with a carbon fiber hood, and some other little things.

Looks good.

stay away from carbon fiber, body kits, and huge wings (my personal pref.)!!!!

I do want to do a M62 blower with a 3" pulley and 42# injectorts.

Yes...PLEASE try to keep this car clean! No offense to you (and I'm not saying you would), but most Cavaliers out there with any work are super rice. <--My $.02.

Buy my RK Sport Touring wing.

The01Cav 02-24-2009 01:04 PM

personally i think you could have traded for something other than a cav but if a cav is what you want then good. looks clean, please keep it that way.

JST2KWIK 02-24-2009 02:45 PM

nice car man looks super clean. I think a little carbon fiber looks good just don't go too overboard! ha

I agree about the body kits and wings... but a little C/F wouldnt be bad. Break up some of the white

The C/F Bezel, and Toyo tails.... or swap on a pre 2003 trunk lid, and get tails for that instead

If you go M62, look into HPTuners, don't use the GM reflash, its GARBAGE

CleanNeon98 02-24-2009 04:18 PM

5-speed?

depends if you have taste or not. larrys blue cav was pretty decent. i think this white ls sport will be 10x better.

JDMTyler3326 02-24-2009 09:13 PM

Wow I would just keep it like that. I really like how that looks.

jdmwill 02-24-2009 09:18 PM

HickRocket1258 02-24-2009 10:50 PM

ho1ywars 02-24-2009 11:30 PM

JDMTyler3326 02-24-2009 11:45 PM

Dude PLZ don't do a body kit and CF. Leave it like that and build the **** out of the motor.

the cobalt stage 2 kit, thats good for some decent power.

but in all honesty, if you want some power go turbo. the ecotec motors are awesome. in fact the lsj is a destroked 2.2 motor(essentially)

theres many cobalts that are ~330-440whp daily driven, there is one 484whp turboed cobalt, but that car is insane. he's an engineer, his motor is built and he has a decently big turbo.

there is a 340whp conservative tuned TVS cobalt too.

i like s/c's but the power in these motors comes in turbo form.
