TST: The Classics. Post up your vintage car or bike

So I know TST is mainly tuner and sports cars but I couldn't help but notice a number of us also have antique/vintage cars and motorcycles. There are a couple old pickups, old VWs etc.... So let's see them.

I don't have good shots of my Cb yet but here are some of my 66 Beetle

Will do, next time I'm home. You could eat off of its undercarriage.

Ender81 01-23-2009 03:33 PM

That's really cool. I dig it when people do their own work, my girlfriends father helps with my cars. Maybe the chance will come up to hangout sometime and talk shop. Where's the bug btw lol.

The Captain 01-23-2009 03:37 PM

I don't have any pictures of it since it was 'finished' It's the ugliest thing ever. It's got an original mulholland kit on it from the 80's to make it look like a porsche...i hate it, my dad loves it.

EDIT: looks like this - http://www.priceofhistoys.com/wp-con...and-look-1.jpg

Ender81 01-23-2009 03:45 PM

Wait is yours the one for sale on Craigslist? And since you said it yes it is the ugliest thing ever lol

The Captain 01-23-2009 03:53 PM

I begged him to go back to Original, since we got it with the kit on, just unfinished. He refused. Umm, it's possibly the one of craigslist, I told him i wanted nothing to do with it cause of how ugly it was so he might be selling it. I know we're looking at picking up a 67 impala and the beetle's gotta go to make space.

Ender81 01-23-2009 04:12 PM

That's pretty cool, I dig the classic Impallas my favorite cars are pre-70's. So do you and your dad hit any cruises or take them out?

The Captain 01-23-2009 05:27 PM

Never did any cruises, used to bring them to shows but it's a nightmare sitting next to them for hours worrying about people's zippers/etc so we don't really do that anymore either. But on sundays in the nice weather, they all come out. I'll try to get better pictures next time i'm home. I havent really gotten to play with them since I've been at school.

I noticed you have a 78 cb750...we also have a '73 CB350... and a '70s harley...and a 60's ford pickup.

Basically we have too many toys.

Ender81 01-23-2009 05:39 PM

That's cool. Yeah I am going to be giving the CB a little cafe treatment. Not looking to ride daily, just get out a little and have some fun.
