jdmwill loves his mini-trucking

since my gay-a-t s13 project is almost at its completion. all it really needs is aero, wheels and Mr.Peter from fivestars to splash some paint on her. I decided it was time to get a little truck so i could do some of my business around town. there is only so much space on the 240 for tires you know.

well luck may have it one of our good customer was parting ways with her pick up. so for the awesome price of $200. i'm the proud owner of a 1989 mazda b2200. i know its not a nissan hardbody but it will do for now.

so of course for $200. it came with it's share of little problems. like a warped cylinder head and a leaky water pump. the body is pretty much rust and accident free. my current plans calls for cylinder head rebuild and new water
pump.

Future Build Plans

as any of my personal cars it cant be stock in no way. it has to be different in one way or the other. as i did some research i found out the turbo mx6/probe engine is similar to the carburated boat anchor i have now. But there are some minor issues with the cylinder head. same thing i delt with the silvertop in the ae86 that i had. the distributor is on the back of the cylinder head and will hit the firewall. so my plans are to use the turbo block with the na head. now this is still a theory im still researching.

couple of mods i wanna do

conservative
wheels 16x8 0 offset

thought of it for a split second. nick at elite jdm has a sweet uber low mileage s5 turbo II swap from japan i have eyed for the past couple of month's. but it wont give me what i really want out of the truck. which is reliability and tons of torque. when i did the research on the probe/mx6 turbo engine the power numbers cought my eye. stock at the crank 135hp and 165 tq i beleive. with a little tuning and a bigger turbo i should have those numbers at the 200 and above range. i even thought of dropping a ka-t but i still want to keep the a/c and powersteering.

low enough to look good, but high enough to carry heavy loads.

Get some diamond racing steelies. I'm gonna have them make me some 15x10's for the rear of the 240. Pretty cheap too and they make any size and offset.
http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/

But do you need multiple projects? Just clean it up, make it mechanically safe, and ghetto cruise that thing. **** you saw my truck, that's straight ghetto rolling. Im gonna have mine painted thins summer, and then I wanna KA-T it. That way I can be that guy with the Chevy powered Nissan and the Nissan powered Chevy.
