Busted for tinted windows
 

I got busted in Nazi town Plainsboro for having tinted windows. Now I'm contemplating on taking the tints off and I need some honest opinion. What do you think, should I keep it or take it off?

just curious how much is the ticket? i'm thinking of tint the front windows on my tib and i want to know how much they would hit me up for. 90% of the time though i have my windows down.

ftp keep it... i wouldnt get rid of it, pay the fine unless the fine is more then the cost of getting them re tinted lol

keep it. when i got pulled over once, the PO told me to remove it or get it removed and guess what? its still on :)

well it is illegal. keep it tho and pay the ticket. but the same cop might pull ya over again

I actually heard from a State trooper before that front tint is legal as long as they are able to legitly see through it.

So you can re-do the tint if y'want some sort of tint, but just an option. goodluck

keep it i got pulled over few weeks ago by a highland park cop in edison lol for tints its 54 he said take them off but i never once drive threw that town lol

The fine was only 54 bucks, damn mine was 108

mine was $106

not in jersey...you can fail inspection for any tint on the 2 fronts...
pa?..well the law sucks in pa....
personally i say keep it, and take your risks..if you decide not to, then i guess ill see you in 2 hours...

I thought any tint was illegal in Jersey? Then again, I don't know anything about how they work.

have it dipped in lower grade.. smoked ..
if pulled over.. tell them its not tint and show them theres no film and tell em its factory...
or get a medical excuse for needing tint...

how does getting medical tint work. what do i do or say to get it. i have really poor eye's so i figured they might believe me

You can have a doctor say the sun irritates your eyes or something.
Of course, you gotta find a pretty friendly doctor or have one if your fam that can write the note.
It's ridiculous to say, but hey, why not?

Any tint on the front windows of your vehicle is illegal in new jersey, except for if you a have a doctor right a perscription for you to have to have tint and then you legally aloud to get the side windows and windshield done, but any way the ticket is only 54 dollars i got one not to long ago on my s10 so its just worth it to keep it and take the ticket every year or so
