2 month Tax Holiday!
 

Rep. Louie Gohmert of TXis proposing a 2 month break in taxes for Jan and Feb of 09. The average american should save $2000 from no income tax for these 2 months. Here is an article on it:

This link is for the petition to push this plan through. I think 2 months of no taxes sounds nice!! He also wants to give us back all our taxes for 08 but i doubt that will happen.

No kidding. It will definately never come true...especially when we need to pay for all these government loans. LOL

nice idea, but I dont think it will happen... or it will happen and we'll have to pay it back one way or another...

all of my tax back from 08 would be a swap for me.

2 months off is nice tho. thats a good chunk o change.

this is the stupidest ****ing thing anyone could ever think of. this would save people money, but the government would be royally ****ed, and workers for the states would be screwed. so many people would also end up losing their jobs because of the hundreds/thousands of companies contracted by states. ex: construction workers/highway repairs.

and this congressman represents only 650k people. he aint **** and this wont make it anywhere in even the house

We want a safe nation we gotta pay for it.
