Tire mounting cost?
Whats should i be expeciting to mount my Bizzaks Mounting and ballancing.
|
... dunnno call mighty muffler they have one of the best mounting and balencing machines availible. they use the same machine as all porsche dealerships
|
free.. but htne agien I go to tech lol.. I dunno I'm guessing like $15 a rim?
|
Most wal-marts can mount down to a 45 sidewall. They are by far the cheapest at $12.50/tire (including new valve stems/balancing). I wouldn't go to them for high speed tires, but winter ones, they are tough to beat. I lucked out with them opening one up right by my work that isn't ghetto yet. And get this, I would actually rate my service there as excellent (we'll see how long that lasts though).
I haven't been able to find any other place for much below $25/tire for the same. NTB won't even mount tires that aren't new/they didn't sell. I saved $100 on a set by using tirerack, and having them mounted at walmart over Sears, CJs, NTB, etc. I couldn't believe how much could be saved on a set of $650 tires. |
Hmm, Walmart you say...I guess they really are taking over the world. I paid a pretty penny to have my Michelins roadforce balanced a few weeks ago, but they're also very low profile and 18+19" rims. I'd say depending on tire/rim size, no more than $20-30 a wheel (that seemed to be the avg price on tirerack installers), and less if you can find a good deal.

Yeah, what size rims????
I know we charge about $1.00 an inch....Its a ripoff |

Na those are my Axis Seven Mods. I am using my stock wheels off the eclipse
|
Are they really expensive???
Cause some tire machines might put very little dents or scratches in them...But you just have to be good like me.....To bad your all the way in jersey... |
$10-20 per rim for mounting and balacing.
|
^ is that your price
|
I got them done today for $25 a wheel, but the old stock tires had to be taken off. I did not get to look at them before because i just brought them in the wraper. Now that i look at them all i can say is damn they look like truck tires lol.
