He was popular because we had a budget surplus which he used to leverage a tax cut. Which administration left us a budget surplus? Clinton. Which president destroyed that surplus by jumping into a war we couldn't win? Bush. The president's approval rating should only be looked at right now. Any president would have chased Bin Laden into Afghanistan, so lets not judge him on that, that was an obvious, obligatory decision. He should be remembered for 2,000,000+ lost jobs, a record budget deficit, the biggest recession since the 1930's, etc. This war can never be won in our lifetimes completely. I agree with CHAOS HILARIOUS! :mrgreen:
