S-CHASSIS MEET THIS JUNE 7 th "check first post for details"
 

I know Jacki has been trying to organize a big S-Chasis meet this coming April, and I'm alaways down for that. I've been breaking my brain trying to come up with a suitable venue, where we can meet, and have a little fun, know what I mean? So I'm looking at some options and was wondering what you all think.

Being that the economy is shaky, I was thinking we may be able to perhaps rent a industrial lot or space somewhere inexpensively. In trying to keep central to the greater areas of NY,NJ,PA and MD, central Jersey seems to make sense. I was thinking somewhere near if not the Convention Center in Edison or some industrial lot. I know there's a ton large warehouse type lots around there. Any way this option may involve a fee, what do you think about that, might be worth it if you can drift there ligitimately.

And, it appears a bunch of guys are trying to organize a meet/show also around April, at Kean University, in New Jersey. Maybe just hitch hike on that band wagon and promote that event? Your thoughts and desires? We still have time on our side at this point if interest is high enough.

I'm updating this thread because this meet has been scheduled and is in the works. The event has been posted on NICO, Zilvia, Philly Drift and IFX as far as I know and we are anticipating a great turnout, interest has been high and people have been wanting an meet like this for a long time, so this is it! Of course, if you have a R or Z chassis you're welcomed too, others too. Just no Alochol, Drifting, Bad behavior (you know what I mean), this is a day time meet in State Park so bring food and beverages for BBQ and prepare to have fun.

that sounds crazy enough to work.lets do it. all that would have to be done is for everyone to know an exact fee for what they plan on having drift, time attack whatever figure out what is going to be our goals for the lot. inform the owners and ask their bribe...i mean rental cost.lol. because its always fun to waste tires and not have to worry about blowing even more money on tickets.ya know...

Good luck getting a place which will let you use their property for this. I would love to see it happen though.

yea that was pretty fun this year. the big lot kinda sucked though. short course and kinda rutted in some spots.

but ****, it was nice having something right in reading.

Im in make it closer to north jersey haha long drives on highways with 10/8kg spring rates isnt fun haha
