I'm thinking about doing ~15 track days next year, I ride with NESBA (www.nesba.com). Once I have the schedule for '09 I'll let you know when I'm heading down.

i find it an interesting idea, but im WAAAY too much of a noob to even think about this anytime soon..... i need to get a lot more used to bikes and then in a few years who knows? (doubt i'll have time though haha)

You can do it on your ninja, believe it or not. You'll be just fine in B group, you'll just get passed on the front straights. And NESBA has an introductory class which costs nothing (but you only get to ride the first 3 sessions of the day).

yeah i believe that, its my level of skills i dont believe in yet :P

but the class sounds interesting, i may have to look into that sometime

Pro-Motion has a great trackday program. They go to NJMP, Poconos, Summit Point, BeaveRun, etc... and their school is great for beginners, up to experts.

I've been meaning to go, a very good friend of mine is an instructor (both nesba and pro motion I think)and I call him to ride every time I go out..His CBR929 has like 80,000 miles on it and I have never ridden with anyone as confident as he is on a bike..He has taught me a thing or two as well since we go out and he watches me ride on the side of the road and gives me pointers. I think I would do pretty well but I would want a 600 or soething with not so much power to ride at the track haha, I was considering buying an NSR250 for that exact purpose (love 2 stroke)
You will never see my bike with chicken marks though:)
