I just bought this phone basically just a sexier more expensive and more capable version of the rumor. Its an awesome looking phone and i love the querty key pad only thing is no flash for pics : /. battery is good interface is very easy to learn. pics are very nice 2.0mp camera and video. its got navi google powervision and all that stuff. just won best phone award

this phone just came out and because of that its not featured on any good ringtone sites, so now i'm mad cuz i wanted some neato ringtones and i'm gonna have to wait. anyone know of any "create your own ringtones with your mp3s" sites?

I got a program on my laptop that a friend sent me to make ringtones. It doesn't work with my iphone and itunes but as long as your fone doesn't have to use itunes Im pretty sure it should work. Were you looking for a certain song? If its something I already have on my comp, you can just tell me what part of the song you want and ill send you the info on how to get it. Otherwise you would have to wait til the weekend so I can download it. You should prolly just shoot me a pm.. haha

just google free mp3 editing software. i found a pretty easy to use one a while back but forget the name

if your able to upload your own ringtones look into audacity for editing tones. i use audacity to edit all my ringtones and i upload them to my phone through itunes.

this sounds good, the songs i want are of some local and very underground bands so i doubt you'll have them but if you could send me that software that would be awesome! do you need the internet on your phone to use this software? i have it for a month or two

what kind of phone? and does it have a mini sd card?

use audacity like i mentioned. you dont need itunes to upload them but thats just what i use since i have an iphone. when i had my tmobile wing, i used audacity to make ringtones too.

do you have a usb cable? you dont need the internet on your phone to do this. just download it on your comp and make a tone and save it as a wav or export it as a mp3 file, then you can use your usb cable to transfer it to your phone.

its the new samsung Rant, i post a pic but there arent any on google you can see it on sprints web site. i have a micro sd card could i click and drag files onto the card and it'll show up on the phone?

yes. when connecting your phone to the computer, the mini sd acts as an external hard drive (aka a flash drive, etc) and you can just put **** on there. make sure you put it in the appropriate folder folder. Also, some phones require a max kb for a song to be a ring tone... others do not.

my phone like 2.5 years ago, the slvr, had a max kb. I'm sure newer phones are much higher. You should have a music of ringtones folder on the sd card, just put your **** in either of those and see if the phone allows you to use the file.
