is my evo...
going to have a hole in the center of the trunk when i take off the oz wing (has splitter and 3rd brake light) and replace it with the evo wing?
if so, htf can i fix this?! |
something about a hole for the wiring harness?
|
if you have one just get the plugs from pep boys/advanced/auto zone......usually black plastic
|
u said it partner... :iagree:
|
open the trunk and look underneath for bolts. I know with the stock evo wing you can see the mount points on each side of the trunk. There shouldnt be any harness going through any hole in the trunk (unless wing has third brake light in addition to the one in the rear window). your bet best is to find one on evoM

Pull it off and plug it!

go wingless. find an rs trunk. that'd be sweet.
|
^RS trunks are only white and red, so it would have to be painted

she could go with the patriotic theme?
|
nothing wrong with that
|
and i dont think you're off at all... i think you're answering exactly what she's asking.
she's got an oz wing, and there's a bolt going up through the bottom of the center section which means yes, she will have a hole there when that wing is removed, so you're right. |
ok cool. it just seems like im losing my mind way too much lately.
BTW you are the reply king of TST. I mean that last one was like 30 sec response time..that redonkulous |
i absolutely hate it when a conversation takes three days on a forum... so if i'm discussing anything i pay attention until we've got the subject figured out ...and now that we're clear i'll move on to other business haha.

ok bye

cliffnotes: OP; you've got a hole in your trunk
|
yea thanks - it does need a filler and i'm just going to order some t10 paint and have slvrsubbierex help me make it look aesthetically pleasing
|
yea when i was running wingless for a while, i found those plugs at autozone, scuffed them up with sandpaper and painted them using the touch up paint pen for my car
|
do yourself a favor, paint the thing OFF of the car if you go that route
