guess its that time time again. Project: I hate you

ok well i am most likely one of the biggest dub heads on here, i have owned 8 of them , 6 if you count just mine, the other 2 were joint projects that never really got finished( my actually be buying the sh!t rocket back)

but i have owned one of every generation golf/jetta up untill 4 which i own currently. and i hate it, i hate the generation its self, but i am doing mods to make it grow on me.

when i got it the exterior was oem to the T. it ran like poop and was piss slow.
the day after i got it:

took that weekend, retuned it( revo stg 3 software, so i used lemiwinks to tune the ecu) fixed the 3 boost leaks it had, made the ic fit much better, and over all made it fell more like a worked 1.8t should.

then i started with the exterior a bit and just continued to make it look better in my eyes so i would like it.

i did not like the wheels too much so i took them off for a makeover, and put on a set i had sitting :

then got to refinishing:

threw them on a bit more spaced out then before

did a few more body things:

Looks nice. I saw this at the montgomeryville meet when you first got it.

tredvento 10-25-2008 11:33 PM

thanks, it was all silver back then, not my taste at all!

Honduh 10-26-2008 02:20 AM

Silver is not my cup of tea either. I dunno something looks off with it though, maybe the door moldings still being silver?
