Mark, you can come over to my house. Located in Yardley, drive way is Mustang car friendly. Plus, I use nothing but Ardex cleaning/detailing supplies.

i wouldnt consider it doing yourself if u have to insert money. if you like swirl marks use the car wash bays, when u are rubbing the brush across your hood think about the time i used it on my brake dusted wheels. i remember my dad went to one of those places with a week old truck and there was a pebble stuck in the brush, dont even say you check for that cuz i know you dont.

With how expensive his paint is, I suggest he doesn't do that. Like Den9 said, you can get swirl marks and **** in your paint. And I know that paint isn't cheap.

Ever think of power washing the brush BEFORE you use it on you paint?...

i have, but thats still gonna swirl your paint, id rather use the 2 bucket method and do it by hand, and you still have to be careful with that, but no matter what over time its going to swirl but if ur careful it wont look like u washed it with a brillo pad. if you owned a ferrari would u take it to the bay car wash? cracks me up when people have nice ass cars, spend 3 hours shining their 20 inch chrome wheels, etc etc and the paint looks like fcuking garbage.

The two bucket method is better then using the car wash bay, even though I am guilty of using the carwash bays a few times lol.

i used the car wash bucket a few times, and usually with my truck because id scratch it up when i drove through the woods anyway. plus if ur trucks all muddy u can power wash it in the bay instead of ur driveway. i havent washed my car in months its filthy, i need soap and time to buff and wax it before it gets cold

lownslow95 10-20-2008 11:00 AM

yeah me to. i havent washed my truck in like 3 months. was going to do it this weekend, but that never happend, to damn cold.
