finally the 2 DD!

ok so through looking at the cars i posted on my previous post ive come to the conclusion of the 2. one being the nissan sentra SER spec v and the other, the VW gti. the years for both range from 2003 and up.

the reason i chose these cars is they are both in the price range for me which is under 13k and i can find them with good miles on them

the nissan sentra SER- can be found under 11k with under 40k miles
the VW gti - anywhere from 2003-05 with under 60k

I know in the other post most people chose the rsx but out of these 2 i would like t see what you guys think is a better choice as in mpg, power, reliability and looks.

thanks for the help its really helping me out

RSX.

I really don't like either one of them. That is of course a personal opinion.

If you don't want to wait for/save more for an RSX type S then just go with the SE-R. 40k is low and spending under your budget is never a bad thing. I'd pass on a VW anything.

The Captain 10-06-2008 03:43 PM

yea, se-r

LevittownMonster 10-06-2008 08:00 PM

I would go with with se-r. But what you should do is go test drive both of them and see what you think.

i would say gti if not rsx-s. ive driven all 3 and hated the se-r. they just arent fun and the gti has a lot of potentially for a lot of power

No rsx? Then get the sentra.

RBrum 10-06-2008 09:24 PM

yea i was thinking about the sentra more only because ive had alot of negative response on the gti, has anyone ever had a problem with a sentra? are they good quality?

The Captain 10-06-2008 09:27 PM

Please, whatever you do, don't let the opinions of us change which one you get. Go test drive them both and decide which one you like.

i like the interior and the ride on the vw's, that's why i chose the jetta. i need torque for the daily and this has plenty of it, oh and right around 11k for 60k miles wasn't a bad price when i got it. i'm sure you can find a 24v gti around that price with those miles now... test drive them both and see what you like better.

Seriously man, you don't need two threads on the same subject.. just continue the topic in your original thread.
