Need help tryna get my first 240 runnin
 
im lookin for some one who would be kind enough to help me do a swap i have a sohc thats was blown when i bought the car and i bought a dohc with the harness and trans and ecu but idont have any of the things to get it worked on as far as money wiseand tools wise im not lookin for some one to DO IT FOR ME but to help me i want to get my hands dirty its my car but i just want to get it runnin so i can go to some of the meets and take this job offering but its a commute where i would have to drive so if theres anyone out there please help a fellow member out.

To be honest, just dive into it. If its not running now, you really can't make anything that much worse. Are you looking for someone with experience to guide you?

Honestly, just do it, its the only way. I helped a friend start to pull his KA (we ended up not doing so, our hoist ended up not getting there) and its really not hard at all. We did this from no prior experience pulling KAs. We had pulled suby motors before but KAs are just as easy.

i want to just do it myself but its just lack of funds and tools because i had people fake me out and dsay they would help when i got the motor and trans but when i did everyone bitched out trust me if i had the stuff i would try it my self but i would like to have some one there to guide me that would be cool.
