All of those cars look messed up in some way... Not so impressed.

Vypurr 09-11-2008 08:50 PM

Yeah. I am glad to see that the customer cars are atleast kinda complete for the most part. I can say that there are a few there which I would gladly take for a long term project!

????Explain????

Kuz 09-11-2008 09:18 PM

My fault, i retract... Seems like most of those projects were for drift purposes only. I just meant they are not that pleasing to the eye.

peteyturbo 09-11-2008 09:47 PM

Why are there so many cars swapped to RHD?? Is it for a JDM look and feel?

Its all about the JDM man. I said it before, I dont think I could comfortably drive RHD, it would just be weird. I'll stick with my left hand drive, I'm doin fine so far. :)

peteyturbo 09-11-2008 11:03 PM

It was a joke, I find this to bo one of the most retarded and ricer-esque mods being done anymore..I say whatever floats your boat but there should be limits haha..I mean if the car is ONLY sold that way and is the only way you can buy it then I guess you have no choice, but to swap it makes zero logical sense to me..Why bother yourself with a great hassle to be an imposter of an equal being?

You can justify it with a 240 I guess... Swapping everything to RHD actually balances out the car in relation to weight. And SR20's were never intended for use in a LHD car. All the brake and clutch lines/resvouirs(sp) are located right next to the turbo/manifold in a swapped LHD model.

I'd never convert my car. Not worth the hassle and a RHD car would suck for gettin cheeseburgers anyway.

Soda Popinski 09-12-2008 12:35 AM

The owner was a great guy. I talked with him for about 40 minutes at the Exton friday meet. He knows his stuff.

SlideWayzS13 09-12-2008 12:42 AM

Honestly a lot of the cars are going to be rece/ drift / motorsport cars except for a couple....The people who choose to do RHD did it not to be "ricer" or whatever else some of you feel makes the car ghey, but actually got into an accident prior and instead of fixing everything back to USDM spec...went a head and got the RHD clip and let us make a fun project and daily driver out of therir car.

DriftNasty180sx 09-12-2008 01:00 AM

F**K that son!

RHD FTMFW... i would do it just for the looks i would get. Not to mention rap game to some hot chick in her car next me at the stop light.

Cars are made to be used and most of the cars at the RF are being put to the test every change the driver gets. I do have a daily driver but i beat the piss out my drift car. But honestly there is NO POINT in building a car made with drag or drift spec **** and never use it for that. That is poserish and i don't care what anyone says. BUILT IT, BREAK IT, STAR OVER AND REPEAT.

DETAILING CARS IS FOR YOUR DAILY NOT FOR YOUR RACE CAR!!!!

TST should buy a car wash then maybe the Auto-metrosexuals on here will have somewhere to go... PEACE :-p

These cars arnt out to impress anyone. Thats the point of them and why so many love them. These cars mean Business. These cars are built... not bought which impresses the hell out of me. Post more pics!

EDIT: Just noticed your retraction. Good man.. but either way no need to dis someone elses work.

J2i5 09-12-2008 05:14 AM

omgwtfbbq? to each of their own i say....

btw reese, you beat your daily driver as much as you do your meat.. way too much.... laff
