I want to go down to Milville NJ tomorrow to check out the new racetrack there, its called Thunberbolt Raceway. The track cant be more then a hour away from the philly suburbs. There are a few races going on tomorrow, a Ferrari challenge race, and the Rolex Grand Am race(3hrs long, the really fast cars that are on speed channel) The race will be on speed channel tomorrow. Its $35 for tiks.
I plan to leave no later then 8am, let me know if anyone wants to go.

Wanted to go but I have two NFL fantasy drafts today and winning cash comes first haha But it does look good on tv, all tho extremely dusty, one wheel off and you start a full on sandstorm!

I'm planning to go on September 13th to see the Star Mazda series and there even might be a Miata Cup race that day too. Tix are only $15 a day for that weekend.. Two weekends (26th-28th) after that is the final race weekend of the season and it has Arca/Remax Stock Cars, Speed World Challenge GT, Touring Cars, VW TDI Cup and Formula BMW's.

I was really hoping to go today too, but it ended up I couldn't...family stuff...too bad, I really wanted to go. I did catch some of the Grand-Am race on TV and it looked excellent. I was trying to pick up on how the experts drive that Thunderbolt course since I was there for a track day on Aug5 and I'm sure I have a lot to learn. At least now I think there will be a few incar vids on the net since before Aug5 the only one I could find was one test run on the track.

Next weekend there is a pro go kart race running on the Lightning track...one of the drivers/team owners invited some of us to come over into the pits so I'd like to check that out http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...ad.php?t=62008 I'm under the impression these karts can hit 150mph on some tracks. The event is by Woodbridge Kart Club http://www.woodbridgekartclub.com/

Went on Sunday and it was incredible. Facility and track need some improvements, but once that happens this event next year is gonna rock.

I was gonna go Friday, but couldn't get any media credentials or pit passes, so I said the hell with it for that day. Then I was going to go on Sunday, but when I had my buddy's bachelor party the night before...those plans fell through too.
