Its a fun a** car to drive. I got to do a few laps at Watkins Glen when I did the Srt Track Experience. The only I didnt like is how close the peddles are together.

CarbonIS 08-28-2008 10:02 AM

that is a damn nice car.

CHAOS 08-28-2008 10:03 AM

close pedals = easy heeltoe.

BlkWhtTSI 08-28-2008 10:04 AM

yeah i just built one on dodges website with a few extra stuff i'd want the price came to $102,000

haha yeah... we took them on an autocross this year for the srt track experience and we were told to nail the brakes and clutch at a certain point in a straight away to keep us from gathering too much speed...

everyone hit all three peddles

I love how the ACR uses KW V3's. :)

TurboDSMJ 08-28-2008 11:17 AM

Haha, quoted from another board I am on:

"If the driver wasnt a stupid dick bag in his first stick car it would have gone 5 seconds faster. (Talking about the ZR1) You also have to remember the acr viper isnt a "street" viper. If GM raced the C6R it would detroy the acr around the track. Its a great time but you have to compare apples to apples."

Scapegoat 08-28-2008 11:27 AM

whether this is a "street" car or not doesn't matter... I can buy one and go drive it on the street legally if I wanted to... thus making it a street car.

And the ZR1 comment about it going faster if the driver was better... well... thats chevy's fault.

Either way... this Viper is loads more awesome than the GTR or the ZR1
