A Denver TV station is reporting authorities may have foiled an assassination plot against Barack Obama, and there's talk the suspects may be members of a white supremacy group.



KUSA-TV claims three men are in custody after a routine traffic stop in Aurora (near Denver) turned up two rifles, high-powered scopes, ammo and meth. The man in the car led authorities to a hotel where another suspect jumped out of a fourth floor window in an attempt to escape.



A third guy was busted at another hotel but the info on him is sketchy.



The arrests went down yesterday. The TV station says sources said "Two of the men had tattoos and jewelry popular with white supremacists."



The mugshot inset in the photo is of one of the suspects, Tharin Gartrell.

This is the BIGGEST bunch of BS I have ever heard. If you read the MULTIPLE varying reports, you would realize that. They all say completely different things.

None of these people were there to "assassinate" that moron obama. The truth is, nobody cares enough about him one way or the other right now. I'm sorry to burst everyones bubble.


I mean, really, read more than one stupid news source. The one guy that was stopped (the "3rd guy", please) was there on a business trip, and "supposedly" had hunting rifles worked on at a local gun shop. Now he has absolutely nothing to do with the others according to SOME reports, just coincidence that the police "stopped someone" :rolleyes: . The others, they were stopped for something completely non-related and happened to have guns. A couple of druggies with guns, bad news either way, but hardly cause for all of this desperate attention seeking.

I'm voting for Obama. Just becasue he'll piss off a bunch of old boring people.


But if he does actually win.........Alot of people are going to be VERY angry just becasue he's black. It sucks but it's the truth.

You couldnt have hit that any better...that is no doubt the truth. There are way too many back woods rednecks in the country that will down and out be completely outraged.
