I'm still planning to make this. I had my hopes up to go today to the Grand-Am race at NJMP/Thunderbolt, but family stuff intervened and I couldn't go.

How do you get into something like this?

Demonicbird00 09-12-2008 03:42 PM

very easy actually, and kids can start as young as 8yrs old in our club

check out woodbridgekartclub.com we have a swap meet in oct down in va its a saturday. you can find good deals on used karts and parts i actually bought my twin kart (w/ motors clutchs etc) for 1100

also try worldkarting.com

you can get a race ready kart for $800+ the home track is summit point WV and we will also have 2 dates in millville next year one on the lightning and the other on thunderbolt

unfortunatly the season is over for woodbridge but there is still 2 national races left but they are in GA

in the national curcuit we run all along the east coast and then 2 in the midwest ( ohio and IN)
