I'm surprised the 1st preseason game was yesterday and we don't have a thread about it.

I think the offense looked pretty good last night. Surprisingly, Buckhalter looked good, and I was impressed with Deshaun Jackson. McNabb didn't look half bad, although he's now throwing over the receivers heads instead of at their feet.

The defense looked a little rough.....and the penaltys need to be controlled.

It's still too early to tell, but I'm always optimistic going into the season.

So, anyone else watch the game yesterday?

I watched the game. It's hard to pay attention to pre-season knowing it isn't official yet, but it's still exciting.

I wasn't happy with McNabb. Then again, I'm never happy with McNabb. Although, I must say, he did waaaaaay better than Feley last night.

McNabb did good. Kolb still needs another year maybe 2. Feeley needs Heather Mitts.

That catch by G-Lewis in the corner was nice...too bad it wasn't a TD. And D. Jackson looked good. I missed most of the game because I was watching the Opening of the Olympic games (I hate Channel 10 because the digital signal sucks:mad:).

Na they lost. 16-10

Doesn't much matter though, does it.....

They did score on their first 2 offensive drives.

Missed the game, but I also won't be catching too much pre-season. Just cant wait to get my whole season worth of Sunday Ticket put to use.

I ended up staying out for a bit after my job yesterday so when I got home there were only a few minutes left, but its nice to have football back on TV again. Hopefully this will be a solid year for the Eagles, looking forward to it...

they're offense will go to **** again this year, donovan is not a good quarterback anymore, he'll probably get hurt in the 1st 6 games and they're screwed, they're wide receivers are horrible, no top name receivers, the only one they've had in a long time they couldn't deal with his attitude and look how well he does in dallas. i predict that they won't make it to the playoffs and if they do it'll be barely with the wildcard and they'll blow it 1st or 2nd round

I'm always excited at the start of a new season but I really had hoped they would add a big time receiver like Randy Moss or Chad Johnson. Hopefully what we got will be enough. I imagine they'll make it to the playoffs this year but I doubt they'll run deep. Finally football is back.

I was just kind of watching it last night, not really super paying attention.

Team looked solid, nothing spectacular but it certainly wasn't ugly or anything. It's hard to get a feel for how the team is during preseason because they just run basic plays and work on the basics and things like that.

The Eagles know how to commit penalties that's for sure.
