Last Auto-X of the year... and its a non points event so it will be a little more relaxed than most... perfect opportunity for us to get a big group out there and have a blast!! Best of all, its a lot closer than most... w00t.
I'll definitely be there, one last time on my poor beaten up tires.

Further, I will give out one free Angry Piston Vinyl to anyone who wants to slap it onto their car the morning of the event to represent the forum. If you want to do this just make sure your car is clean so the vinyl goes on properly, and come find me the morning of the event.

uh... if you're talking about spectating at the autox then sure, but i promise you that although watching is fun, driving is 100x better... just give it a shot, you'll be happy you did.

I wouldnt mind getting the BMW out there and slinging it around a little, i havent really gotten a chance to see what it'll do yet....its not quick at all, but it seems to handle pretty nicely. Ill have to see what my schedule is gonna look like, and ill let you know. :mrgreen:

For some reason I can't read your post right. I don't know, but I am drinking.

Hopefully I can get a rear sway bar by then so I can try a course for my self and see what I can do.

even if you dont get a new rear swaybar still come out! i promise you its much more about the driver than it is about the car. there's really no point in trying to be competitive your first time out, so the best thing to do is forget about being competitive (driver or car) and just see if you can improve on your own times through the day.

I kinda figured that Barry. I'm not sure I'll be in the mood to cord $800 in tires that day. Who knows though? Maybe I'll take the pig for a run. :)

what tires? i've just been using the summer tires that i use on the road and they really havent shown much wear at all. from what i've seen so far, autoxing doesnt wear nearly as much on your tires or brakes as a road course will.

The stock conti's. My car is brutal on tires with everyday driving. The S4 has been known to trash tires with one x-cross event. I'm actually half kidding, I might join in. I have 11.5k on them right now, I should just run them til their flat.

This event might be to close to pass-up!

I burned my tires on the s4 out in 8k i think thank god it got bought back before i threw new ones on there.

I'm surprised I got to 12k myself. I've actually taken it easy on them while trying to get at least early November. Then the winters go on and I'll worry about summers come April. Assuming I can find wheels to fit this odd-ball.
