more to come...

pearl 07-31-2008 02:40 PM

the head and tail light covers are iffy, and i think if the wheels were bigger/wider the car would really look dope

twastheglow 07-31-2008 02:45 PM

I would like to see more of these cars built and done up all nice nice.

Da InFaMMuS 1 07-31-2008 02:45 PM

i spent alot of money on the swap, so once my finances come together the headlights are gonna change and i'm gonna get some 17's and put on my coilovers to slam it, even though NY/NJ roads SUCK.

spoolinLSsol 07-31-2008 02:55 PM

are those wheels 5x114 by any chance?

upperguy 07-31-2008 03:20 PM

not even wider wheels, just need some big spacers and it would be a good improvement:)

Wow.. didn't know Hswaps were done to these cars.

Caught me by surprise!

Racersky 07-31-2008 03:46 PM

not necessarily rare.......just that you don't see it a lot. I know a lot of people that has them and some of them have h22s in them.

They're originally Fseries, so I'm pretty sure that the Hswap is essentially drop in.

I agree about the covers, but i do think both both cars look nice. Your boys bumper, what is following (i think)BluMeanie with the not quite so shiny look :-p still looks nice as hell in my opinion. Fairly clean engine bays too.

Yeah its fairly easy to put in, there is some fabrication that needs to be done but for the most part its straightforward. Mine was a little different cuz the H23vtec isn't completely similar to the H22.

As for the headlights, its a love/hate thing. Some people hate em, some people love em, rarely anyone in between lol.

twastheglow 07-31-2008 06:45 PM

I really like the headlights...a lot. It really makes the whole thing "pop". Not a huge fan of the tail lights being so dark though.

Your rockin' LS meshies.

LS Integras = 4x100

I like it.

Get some cleaning going on and it's unique!

The meshies on my boy's CL are actually stock 98-99 3.0 CL wheels, not LS meshies. Thus 4x114.3, not 4x100. I'm rockin Rota Slipstreams with custom painted gold lips (backyard project LOL)

Ender81 07-31-2008 07:52 PM

Your friends car looks hot, I'm not diging the yellow headlights as much but I like the wheels.

Well almost noone extensively mods this platform of acura. Most of the time you'll see some old person driving them lol. Being that alot of the mods have to be custom made, people are discouraged from that although it has gotten better with time. The cars started out with 140hp single overhead cam 4 cyl motors in them, but being that there is a serious lack of performance in that motor unless you do some serious work, we swapped out our stock motors. My friend has an H22 motor out of a honda prelude, which bumped up the hp to 200, and with the mods he's done i'd guess around 265 or more cuz the head is fully build and he has every bolt on. My motor is an H23 out of aJDM Accord type R wagon, which came with 220hp, and with my mods i'd say at about 235 or so. So for us, its a pretty good improvement. He's going stroker turbo eventually and i plan to go turbo also within the next 2 years.
