Great TV Commercials

this thread is a no-brainer for me. I've ALWAYS loved commercials (the good ones anyway) and I've had an opportunity to work on quite a few as well. Commercials can be so many things... mostly I appreciate the funny ones that really make u laugh and brighten up your day.

So here is a thread for us to discuss our favorite commercials.

One of my favs right now is the "Oatmeal Crisp" one where its a dad eating the cereal and his teenage son comes into the kitchen and wants to try some. The dad starts making up excuses about how the kid wouldn't like it "I HAVE TO eat this, its good for my heart" and how its soggy, "but it says Crisp on the box" the son says...

ends with dad saying "don't argue with your father, its very stressful"

FANTASTIC writing, acting and directing. The exchange between the father and son is so genuine, you could almost believe they are actually father-son. its just a great concept, having the son want to try the "oatmeal" cereal because it looks good, while the dad eats it for heart health- and doesn't want to share! ROFL... i die everytime its on. The dad has great delivery.

Looking forward to hearing some more....

If you're responsible for the Extenze, Girls Gone Wild, or Vehix.com (where the woman goes "Did you know there was a semi-automatic transmission?") commercials, I may have to curbstomp you.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, I don't think there are any on right now, but I dig commercials that make me laugh every time I see them... I'm also amused by the freecreditreport.com commercials, particularly the latest one about how he wishes he hadn't married his girlfriend because she has poor credit (btw, did anyone else notice that it disappeared for about 3 months after it first aired for a couple days? I'll bet some group was annoyed by the message...)

Nah, I've worked on quite a few PA Lottery "Gus, the 2nd most Famous Groundhog In Pennsylvania" spots tho... :D And a couple of the original CarSense.com commercials. they were pretty bad.

I loved the original Geico Caveman commercials, and the one in the airport with the cool song is good too.. not sure i like the "Baltimore is a great place to pick-up dance moves, I find...." one tho.

I dig the comcast commercials. However, in terms of sheer giggle bait, few surpass the 80'sness of these car commercials(courtesy of tcl and youtube):
