They could get Silvia's @ the dealer. And WTF would you import a Garbage KA when your car comes with an SR?

Im a newb to this forum yea but not to the 240sx/Silvia scene. Ive owned 240s before most of the people on this forum.

the ka is not a crappy motor. you guys obviously have no clue what the ka is capable of. This is coming from someone who owns an SR too.

you guys misread what I said. why would I say you couldnt get a silvia from the dealer? LOL. NO **** you can get a Silva from the dealer in Japan. Wow thanks for enlightening me on a given fact. They do import USDM body parts and USDM motors(KA), its been done. They import lots of USDM parts and cars. Vettes, chevelles, novas, even crappy crapices. etc Those were the two statements he was wrong on. Its as simple as us importing JDM parts.

Im not turning this into an SR vs KA war. Get over it, its been discussed millions of times.

Rotaries are totally and completly awesome and OWN all. And it's pretty cool that this one is in a AE86.

They really do like their imports(american and european cars) over in japan and they can really drive a premium(note-I've never been over there or have any desire). As an aside, most of the aircooled vw drag cars of the 60's and 70's, that really established the import drag racing scene in the u.s., were bought by very rich japanese buyers and shipped over. Even a lot of high quality stock vw restorations end up going to Japan for big $$ as they are huge over there.
And the KA is a good engine with crappy pistons(ring lands). Therefore, they have to be tuned really good to prevent detonation or need aftermarket pistons. And yes, rotaries are awesome.
