yeah that's pretty stupid. i LoLz when i see the idiots riding rockets around here wearing shorts, no shirt, sandals, but wearing a helmet :bigeek:. it's a daily occurance. they're everywhere. just asking to have all their skin taken off Buffalo Bill style

Munky 06-21-2008 12:08 PM

LoL when I had my R6 I used to go for rides with my buddy and his girl. He had a Daytona Triumph and his girl rode from Reading to Allentown bike night with her sneaker on his brand new exhaust. Needless to say when we got there she was walking funny cause one shoe was lower than the other and he was ready to commit murder cause of all the melted rubber on his new exhaust.

DC Hunny5 06-21-2008 12:36 PM

i've ridden one before in flip flops, it's actually not that bad.

twastheglow 06-21-2008 12:53 PM

^ I don't think I would admit that. LOL I've never wanted flip-flops to fall off someone so bad.

MTuning 06-21-2008 12:57 PM

Until something happens and your foot is no longer attached to your body. But then again I probably would never get on a motorcycle without full protection.

Amputee's can't kick or run away.

Although that is hilarious, I don't worry about her kicking or running away. I don't have that problem.

BeautifullyBlued 06-21-2008 07:01 PM

I can't really tell from the picture, that's why I'm about to ask, where is she supposed to put her feet? And didn't her man warn her?

twastheglow 06-21-2008 07:07 PM

There are pegs for her to put her feet. The issue is that only an idiot would wear flip-flops on a bike for a number of reasons. A) There is zero protection to your feet. B) Her feet are basically on the exhaust so burns are all but imminent. C) She could melt the rubber from her stupid flip-flop and fuse it to the exhaust (which I'm sure he would be stoked about). D) She will most likely lose a flip-flop (not that that's a big deal by any means).

And I'm assuming her moron boyfriend either hates her feet so he didn't mention anything about that to her...or he's just equally stupid.

Hando567 06-21-2008 07:07 PM

i dont think her feet are on the exhaust itself but on pegs slightly above the exhaust (if everyone didnt know already). however sandals on a bike are still a bad idea.
