West Chester Students or residents, do u know anything about Seven Oaks apartments?
 

Just trying to see if anyone knows or heard anything about it.

lol ive heard it sucks but ive never been there.

i knew a few ppl who lived there.. didnt really hear them complain about it.. then again i dunno.

I knew a lot of people that lived there. And every one of them complained about it the parking sucks. Mostly the problem is, is that they cram all the UTI students in there and there is 4 per apartment so there ends up being more cars then parking.

If you have other options i would suggest considering them over seven oaks.

my other option is an old guy who runs an apartment complex, who wants 2grand up front, and requires a $930 security deposit which will be returned if ur apartment passes his 11 point inspection after moving out. I honestly dont see anyone getting that deposit back, and the old guy looks like hes sneaky sneaky. lol

I like seven oaks, and its spacious.
Whats UTI?

hit up norwood house apt. tell them i referred you :) cheap and now much upfront.

UTI = Universal Technical Institute. Its basically a mechanic training school. Its in exton about 15 min drive from West Chester.

And to answer your question about noise. There is one old lady that has been living there for literally 30+ years she calls the cops over alot of stuff.

Also there is tons of party's there. If that is your thing then even better for you. But be forwarned they almost always get broken up by the cops and they are usually all under age kids.

I knew people that lived in seven oaks..it was very basic, looks kind of like a crappy hotel in the halls. I never heard and major gripes about it though.

I lived in Halstead Apts which is about 1/10 of a mile down the road and was very nice with ample parking, though a bit more expensive. This was when I had my WRX and was very picky about parking. I think it was somewhere around $1100/month for a two bedroom and $800/month for a single bedroom. All those apartments have carpet/dishwasher/AC/in unit washer dryer and so on.

I also lived in Marchwood apartments in Exton-- not as nice as Halstead, but it got the job done and had a ton of space-- also most of the aparments have a balcony that you can grill on. A lot of UTI guys live in Marchwood as it is almost within walking distance.

Isn't Norwood House all the way in Downingtown?

1150 with all utilities except for electric for a 2 bedroom and 2 bath, its [retty big and spacious. Does it sound like a fair deal to u?


Another question, lets say im at a party in West Chester with underage kids, and im 21, what do i say? Will they let me go or charge me with something like getting alcohol for minors? I heard i just have to say that i just got there.

ehhh.. no they will charge you anyways weather or not you purchased it.. Me and TehGc had a bout with that and we were the ONLY 2 ( literally ) that where of age to drink.. The ONLY reason we got let go, is my dad knew the one High Ranking officer Real well ( he was a family friend and knew my family from them being raised in WC) and TehGc Knew the other one because he used to work on the squad cars or something like that..he worked at that shop being Import Cars of West chester.. cant remember the name Right off hand.

Make friends, and you get let go.. I mean that as in make friends in the right places.

As for the Apartments.. ehh thats a better deal than you will find At say Golf Club ( which is a rip off and a half), but not as nice as the one thats LITERALLY across form the hospital.

i dont get bothered by anyone at norwood. I park the vette, trex and my other toys overnight and have never had any issues. just a lot of people looking at them and wondering why i live there when i have the cars i do.

hell yea, i live right above that old buzzard. 2 monthes in and she called rent-a-cop on me twice. but she wanted him to call the real cops on us lol. its not too bad. i live on the third floor, 2 bedroom 2 bath w/ a deck. i really dont mind it. only thing is that the corridors look like it used to be an old hotel, prolly was. its kinda creepy, when you open the big door to the next section of apartments, its exactly the same as the one ur in looking all the way down the hallway. kinda like "the shining" haha. i pay 1105 a month utilities besides electric included. ill give it a 6.5 :devil:
