Rant incomming of NTB in Willow Grove
 

Ok so I didn't know where to put this but here it goes... im on my samsung i760 right now so ill edit/post a pic later. I get my tire and wheel balanced down at NTB in Wilow Grove on sunday before the meet... he'll they did even 'charge' me for it.. the 'manager' at the time told me to take care ofld the tech working on my tire... (no lookin back on it I shouda taken care of him GTA IV style) so I slip him a $20 and set out for the meet... well monday I decide to do some work to my DSM ad when I try takin my wheel off... the damn tech somehow crossthreaded 2 of my bolts.. now its about 5pm and I call good 'ol NTB and they tell me to bring it on in the moring and they'll take care of me... (and they WERE thinkin GTA IV style)
So the tech comes out and attempts to take off the rim and breaks the 2 bolts off... so no biggie right?... they'll replace it easy enough right?... that's what I thought.... well the manager workin here says that I must've cros threaded my bolt myself because I was the last one with hands on and there was NO WAY THEIR TECH OR EQUIPMENT was possible of doing that. He tells me im tryin to pull a fast one on him... and wen I ask him if he's calling me a liar he just gives me the shrug of his shoulders and walks off....

Now let me devuldge a lil bit about me to my newly found TST family... I am in the US Navy.. I am one of the elite in the Military Police field , I am K9 handler and I have been all over this planet saving lives by finding explosives meant to kill.. I have been to Iraq, outside the gree zone outside the wire, in direct combat... I have been shot at, seen our fellow americans pay the ultimate price and zi have been hit by the same explosives I am trained with my K9 partner to find... I have done a lot of things in my time and am no saint... however I am NO liar...
So this lil visit to NTB in Wilow Grove that I thought was a good 'hook up' cost me a days worth of time, $120 and wo knows how much air time through Verizon....

Steer clear of NTB in Wilow Grove....

Request a full refund and move on. I did this last year at a different NTB that managed to lightly scratch every single one of my Spec V's stock wheels when mounting tires. They have a "customer satisfaction" guarantee, and the manager was able to give the refund quickly when I came back later that week.

Very well, i'll take this time to rant about my oxford valley ntb experience a couple of years ago. Take my bug in for an alignment as I had just changed a bunch of front end stuff. "Very well good sir, just wait in our waiting area and it will be ready in an hour or two". So an hour and a half comes around and I get called to talk to a tech. Naturally, i think it is ready. Now the tech comes around(now, I'm not usually one to judge someone solely on appearance- but this guy could'nt have been anything but a complete idiot).
So he starts off on a tirade of utter bs saying that he cant work on my car due to something or other to do with the coil springs. Even if standard beetles had coil springs, which they do'nt, his explaination would have still made no sense. 2hrs of my time wasted sitting about.

Well, at least I did'nt have to pay them anything. After this I tried Karllson's in Pendell where they charged me for an alignment without even touching my car. Of course, that's a different story.

This is a real simple fix, I used to work at NTB.

GO TO THERE WEBSITE AND GO UNDER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR EXPRIENCE AND SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU THE NEXT DAY!

That will get them in a lot of trouble. Let me know how it goes.
