Horhay's OTHER journal, 99 2.5RS

I finally managed to pay off my STi so I was able to make it my weekend toy instead of my daily grind car. I looked for awhile to find a nice RS coupe like what I've wanted since I was 16 (I'm almost 27, I've been patient). I was lucky enough to stumble across a fellow NASIOCer's ride for sale in my local forum. I picked it up last Friday and have been grinning ever since. Here's some pictures from the first day.

not a fan of the stickers.

Nice, always nice to see some other GC's floating around.

(yeah the stickers are to much for a street car (Unless there sponsors) I'll take the liberty of saying more then just that though)

I'm loving the rims.. trade me for my stockers? hehe! what are your future plans for the car? purpose built?, or street beast? doing a swap? turboing?

Hope to see this thing come along further...

Nice STI and Z..

Actually I think the stickers look damn good.

Here's the update. Work to clean up the car started Saturday right around lunch time. Here it is on Sunday.

My plans for this car are to enjoy it in its current state of performance for a while. First thing I'll probably do is get a front lip, rear bumper, rear spats and paint the side skirts. Then I'll probably spring for 4/2pot brakes from the WRX. In a couple years I'd like to throw a 2.5L WRX motor in there but for the time being its quick enough and I enjoy having an NA Impreza once again. This is my daily driver and with 93 up over $4.20 per gallon I'm happy with an engine that sips 87 while my 93 gulping STi hides out in the garage...
