Best single din headunit (non dvd)

Im looking for the best single din headunit I can find. Any suggestions? I'm more into finding a headunit with an awesome screen. are there any single dins with like full screens or large screens? possibly something interactive, high quality, not just LED.

I'm not refferring to those fold out dvd screens that are single din. Im looking for a normal single din, that just is a step up from most.

I've been looking at the Alpine IDA-X001. So far thats the best ive seen, but what do you guys suggest?

Funny you should post this, but a friend of mine I just recently saw has that exact headunit, the Alpine IDA-X001. It's a nice-looking piece, and only half of it detaches. Controls seem pretty simple, if you have the Ipod to hook up to it. (He ran the wires into his armrest to keep them out of the way). Only downfalls I saw was that its not a CD player (call me outdated, but I need a standby if my mp3 player freezes, and the radio kinda sucks), and I'm not sure if it only works with Ipods. Equalizer is awesome though. He had to reset his audio level presets everytime he detached the faceplate; not sure if it was just his car or b/c the faceplate was removed, but I thought that was pretty dumb.
