First off, youre user name makes me think you are a vdubber in training which is very nice haha. I had to wait until I was 15 to start working in fast food, but your best bet is to get something paying under the table at a restaurant bussing tables or whatever. Try and check out job search things like the paper or craigslist and give some of the people a call and just tell them you're 14 and gotta find somewhere that hires 14 year olds or pays under the table.

Call ANY local speed shop and ask if they need a shop boy.

End of thread.

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 09:14 PM

Haha yeah, I want a rado, going too look at one tomrrow.
Ill trying checking out places for under the table...
Drift, what do you mean, end of thread, and learn how too use for sale thread, I already know how, Im not selling anything, so I dont need it....

14 is the minimum age at which you can become a pharmacy technician, so check into that. It's not a fun job by any means, but it's a job. I'd only suggest this line of work if you pay VERY close attention to detail and can multi-task effectively.

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 09:28 PM

Thanks doug.
Yeah, Im a kid, I think I can keep on task pretty good though, pharmacy technician? Ill look into that....
Like I said, a job is a job, Ill do Sht work till I can get something decent.

Yeah good luck man.. what I did when I was young... I reffed ice hockey games. It's really easy to get into, if you are a good skater. Pays really well.

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 09:56 PM

Skating >.<,
More into bikes, I did try reffening wrestling, Beings I so wrestle, Payed like 35 a tourney, but then they got a more growen up person too do it...
Im gonna try this speed shop here in ephrata tomorrow, See if they need anything.
Off topic, Doug, I like your STi

Think of a job no one wants, which doesn't pay much money. Those are pretty much the options for 14-year-olds. At your age I spent my summers working for my Dad's construction company making $5/hr for the summer. During the school year I was a busboy for warminster west diner and also worked at a Dunkin Donuts. It sucks man, but just find something that the people are you are chill, because the work itself is most likely going to blow balls. Check your local grocery store? They love cheap bag boys.

DelCoTuninG 05-01-2008 10:05 PM

Im lookin for a job 2, just turned 17. Try going to acme or some type of grocery market i kno they hire at 14.

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 10:07 PM

Yeah delco, Atleast your 17, I think thats gonna be easier for you, Just finding something you like will problay be hard though,
ill start thinking of some crap jobs that no ones interested in, Trust me, Ill take like 4 bucks an hour, anything flys for now.

The Captain 05-01-2008 10:15 PM

Hit up craigslist too. There are a ridiculous amount of jobs on there, I'm sure you could find something.

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 10:16 PM

! 0.0 ! Good idea!!!!!!
Im gonna look now!!!!

Soon2bG60 05-01-2008 10:31 PM

Haah yeah, It happens, I got a hookup when Im 16 though, Good job now, Only 1 1/2 years now. >.<

Time machine anyone?

den9 05-01-2008 11:46 PM

minimum wage is like 7.25 now, just work at fast food, u might be lucky to get a job there at ur age. i doubt ur gonna be a pharmacy tech at such a young age, be a bus boy or a waiter, waiters make decent tips. also try car washes, it sucks workin with illegal immigrants but it pays

and the time machine comment, just enjoy being 14 while you can, youll miss getting away with **** u would never be able to when ur over 18

Thanks, good luck with the jawb search.

mccula 05-02-2008 12:12 AM

DON'T get a corrado for your first car, especially not a g60... research it a bit.
Just keep looking for a job, something will pop up! If not, bite the bullett till you're 15 like the rest of us did, do the stuff you can do, than move into fast food or something.

The Captain 05-02-2008 12:18 AM

I say enjoy your last few years of non-work life. Chill w/ your friends, swim in your neighbors pool, play manhunt at night, all the stuff you're supposed to do when your 14. **** my little bro is almost 14 and all he does is sit on a computer and play runescape. I tell him everyday that he should be living up this years, but apparently killing noobs and being fake rich is more important.
