cobb tuning AccessPort Engine Management System
is the cobb tuning AccessPort worth the $695 is it any good does any one have it
|
its convenient to be able to switch back and forth between maps on the fly, but for it to really do any good your gonna need a pro tune, thats gonna run you another couple hundred....basically, is it worth 1000 to you to be able to switch maps at any time ? thats its only real advantage

^^^^^^^^^^^
What he said... I have it... not worth it, unless you like to switch maps daily. |
i don't think i've ever heard anyone refer to it by its full name before lol
|
I sold mine. Not worth it.
Step 1) Talk to Ray @ TurbotekTuning. He will hook you up with a better opensource map for alot less money. Step 2) Hit up a strip club. Your friends are going to be alot more amused when you tell of how you blew $600 at the the strip club, rather than how you blew $600 on a stupid accessport that you sold after 8 months. |
Ben i edited a lil
Step 1) Talk to Ray @ TurbotekTuning. He will hook you up with a better opensource map for alot less money custom tuned for your car. Step 2) take Ray to a a strip club. He will be very amused when you tell him lets you blow the rest of the money at the the strip club, rather than how you blew $600 on a stupid accessport that you sold after 8 months. |
+2 for ray. see you saturday <333

thanks for the input

+1 on a protune for max. benifit.
i have the v.1 AP, its convenient, if you have CEL's you can check/clear them, switch maps, you basicly have an OBD tool. its good for the wrx, cobb's off the shelf maps are good but not great. there is much more support for the EVO on opensource, if i had an evo, i'd go that route . |
