looking for an actron super scanner to use
 

i am looking for someone that has the super scanner and the adapter to run some codes on my 93 taurus sho. i have been getting the CEL all the time and i want to run the codes and know exactly what is wrong with the car and erase the code/s.

disconnect your negative terminal from your battery for 10 min...if it comes back on again, go to autozone, they'll pull the codes for free

yea i did that and the CEL keeps coming up and the only thing that autozone has it the beeping and blinking code scanner and i want something that is a little bit easier than that.

that's about as easy as it gets. You can make a home made obd1 reader too if you want. I'm sure there are 3457809809845 websites on how to read the beeps/blinks...if you really wanna a quick run down and a way to make your own, www.feoa.net (yes omg an escort website, haha) in our how-to section.

yea, about $9 in radioshack parts...made one for my GN, hooks into my laptop for the scantool...i might give it to ya since i gotta scanmaster :)

I can help you. You'll have to come to S.Phila for me to scan it though. I have a Snap ON scanner and All Data if we need it. If you make the trip, I won't charge you. Just mention you're from the TST and I'll help you out. PM me if you're interestes.
