evo X boosting 20psi stock?
 

anyone have any idea why bone stock evo X would show readins of 20psi on the boost gauge? A friend of mine installed the greddy boost gauge correctly and is reading 20psi

that is probably right. most evo's run around 19 to 21 psi stock.

yeah, sounds about right. other evos do right around 20 stock too

The 8 from the factory puts down 19 psi, the 9 is 20psi. Since the new engine revs faster and has a smoother powerband I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 20.

i thought being that the last one i work on was an 8, stock it was more arround 16, that 20 was a bit high but i guess not. Ahhh oh well.

Your right! the X runs 1-2 more psi from the factory.
