Aftermarket keyless entry help

So on my galant there is an aftermarket keyless entry and one of the previous owners installed it. Basically it isn't installed right and it locks itself when it wants to I can deal with that.

But here is the problem the keyless entry broke 2 days ago I had no worries because I figured out how to make it not lock. Well I forgot to do it one time today at work and the car locked itself. Now I always leave the window cracked so I can get in but the car won't start because the alarm is set and can't be turned off without the keyless entry which doesn't work anymore.

I tried disconnecting the battery and it still doesn't turn it off once I turn it back on. Sorry for such a long read but here is the question, where would I be able to disconnect the keyless entry from?? I know it's is supposed to be under the dash somewhere but any places that I should look first before ripping the entire dash apart?? Any help will be greatly appreciated because the car is stuck at work and I'm going to have to use my celica for work tommorow if I can't fix it.

Do you have any idea what type alarm it is? DEI, Code, Persuit???.....

The system you have is programmed for Passive locking and arming, If you can figure out what system you have you can change this feature. Best thing to do at this point is to open the car, dive under the dash (driver side) with a flash lght and locate a small over ride push button. Most alarms have these , Find it, Turn the ignition to the ON position the hold the button in while attempting to start the car. This should override the system and allow you to drive away. If this button does not exist post with the year, make and model of the car and I'll tell you some wire colors and how to take the dash knee bolster down so you can get in there...

BTW, did you replace you transmitter batterys?

Yea I replaced the batteries, and I was looking under the dash last night and there is a little red button near the floor is that the thing I have to push in??

the button is usaully black on most but that might be it. Try pressing and holding it in and turning the key in the ignition to start...

Yea I got my car started I just ripped the dash apart and found it but I don't know if that button worked because before hand I had disconnected some small box right near the steering rack that I had to reconnect to get the car started after I took out the keyless entry no idea what it is but thanks for the help
