Almost 11's :D

I ran my fastest time last Tuesday, 12.0 @ 119. That was on my pump gas map and snow tires and a god awful 1.9 60'. I cant wait to go back well prepared to finally be an official 11 second car!!!

Nors 03-29-2008 09:56 AM

Snow tires... interesting..

Silverfc88 03-29-2008 10:05 AM

With some nice low 60's those traps should be good for mid 11's! Very nice.

SovXietday 03-29-2008 11:34 PM

"God aweful 1.9 60'"

LOL! I wish.

Good stuff!

Roadkilled75 03-30-2008 12:58 AM

That is pretty awful, my 14.0/rwd/automatic pulls a 1.9 60' :-p

peteyturbo 03-30-2008 05:57 PM

My EVO gets better short times on the snows, it roasts the 245/45/17 REO1R's to a 1.8-1.9..Car looks to be making some nice power, how much boost/?

BillFromTR 03-31-2008 07:39 AM

The tire spin helps a bit,eh? 23psi and 25 psi, map dependant.

HuffRex 03-31-2008 08:36 AM

damn man so close...i ran 12.0@116 last year almost identical, u got it next time

C'DALERIDER 03-31-2008 08:37 AM

Ya, that is a very nice trap speed. 11 second car no problem. I cant wait to go now.

HuffRex 03-31-2008 09:03 AM

i think this thread just incouraged me to finish putting my t-bolt clamps on and go for a run down the track this week on snow tires.

lawdogg 03-31-2008 09:18 AM

Running ~120 traps in an AWD car should be good for DEEP 11's. Nice job!

alwaysinboost 03-31-2008 10:19 AM

snow tires ftmfw. I went 12.06 @ 113 on blizzack ws-50 snows a couple years back in my EVO. that was with a 1.71 - 60' though, if you can come out of the hole a little better you'd have an 11 sec car for sure.

peteyturbo 03-31-2008 08:53 PM

Huff, it's called evo vs. wrx on friday and street wars on sunday..Which one will you be in attendance for?:bigeek:

I have never heard anything good about those Nittos. How do you like them so far? I've heard good and bad about the BFG dr's but if it were up to me i'd go with some Mickeys.

not really happy to be honest. i got a 1.78 60ft last year when i wasnt on the spray. and pulled a 12.05@117 i will go down again just to see if it was the track or the tires.
