Anyone excited for all new Futurama??

All new episodes are on this sunday for two hours!! I can't wait its going to be freaking awesome

I think I'll stick to the old ones. When they start remaking any series, it never seems to come out right. I will hopefully be watching them though.

What channel? time?

what about family guy? you cant tell me that the new ones arent as good if not better than before they took it off the air.

i like family guy more. Futurama never stuck with me. Although i dont really go out of my way to watch TV to begin with. Its normally NOPI or two guys garage.

Vypurr 03-22-2008 02:45 PM

They are not showing new episodes at all. What it really is, is the Futurama Movie: Bender's Big Score.

you know this to be fact? or are you speculating? i would be pissed if they advertise NEW EPISODES and then they bait and switch witha movie that i watched 6months ago via the internet

Vypurr 03-22-2008 05:01 PM

I know that to be a fact. The newest commercials even say it.

It will be the first movie (Bender's Big Score) broken into 4 episodes. There are still 3 more movies which will supposedly be made and they will each also be broken into 4 episodes and aired on comedy central later.

that's typically what new means...ha ha i know i know.

ThePrimerSuspect 03-22-2008 09:54 PM

this is one show that definitely needs to come back on. way funnier than the simpsons.

It could also mean that they are just episodes that haven't been shown on Comedy Central yet. They just picked up Futurama from Adult Swim on Cartoon Network a few months ago and haven't had enough time to run through the entire series yet.

DC Hunny5 03-24-2008 01:06 AM

yeah, and 2 months later they dropped futurama from adult swim.

90Laser 03-24-2008 01:38 AM

South Park = Simpson's > Futurama > King of The Hill > Family guy.

Family guy sucks and +1 about "New Episodes" being movies broken into 4.

contract ran out, they had no choice

Scapegoat 03-24-2008 10:54 AM

adult swim had futurama for way more than 2 months.

The contract ran out and Comedy Central had way more money down on the table. Cartoon Network and Adult Swim did not have the ability to out bid Comedy Central... so there futurama went. AS wanted to keep the series.

~Brian~ 03-24-2008 11:00 AM

I really miss watching Futurama on AS. Perfect way to end a stressfull day.

No, they were definitely new. I own the entire series and those were definitely new.
