Yeah, I saw your numbers the other day. They seem to be on par for what you're hoping for. Is it still breaking up after 5K?

Nah its not, but it is running PIG rich,so there is alot more power hidden in there.

ive conisdered doing a few swaps like sr20det, vq35de and i was lookin around for the SR20VE engine from japan but no dice on that one. but im gonna keep in simple and use the qr dispite what people say about it. its a torque monster i love it.

Yea. Good luck with the QR build. A VQ would be amazing but from what I hear they are a little pricey and a PITA to get in.

Not much Daniel. The Sentra is doing OK. The list of things I want to replace seems to grow faster then I can keep up with. Every month I buy a batch of parts I need, which is mostly maintenance stuff now (Wheel bearings, window mouldings, etc). Once in a while I buy a go fast part so I can strap this to my engine:

In my spare time I enjoy rolling around under John's car in a puddle of coolant and gear oil in 40* temps! :)

What's up with you and your cars?

^mainly because the fact that you have to ship your car to louisiana, since travis is basically the only one that can do the swap (minus one guy who did it with at home with travis' help) he does the swaps for 5k installed. which is basically the same as buying the 3k turbo kit and having a shop install it, with less turn around time...

im chillin on my warranty until its up, i got another 60k left of it haha by that time hopefully have a nice job to get a decent new car and keep the spec for fun and boost it... but ill prob just keep it at 8 psi and be happy with 280-290 to the wheels....

the main issue is reliability the QR already isnt the most reliable..Im on my second motor, some guys are on their 3rd.. .IMO big hp QR25 builds are pointless unless its a trackslut first and foremost. Kojimas time attack spec v is only like 420whp on 12psi.....and that motor is crazy built and is a full out race car with an unlimited budget.....so i hope you got the funds to spend....but id honestly just turbo it and keep the rest for a nice downpayment on a new car since alot of nice cars are gonna be hitting the markets over the next few years i think...

kojimas car.

There's a crazy B13 I saw down there before. GTi-R swap, with all the basic turbo bolt ons. Guy is stripped and caged with yellow foam all over the bars when he's driving it on the street. Know him?

damn...your on your 2nd motor? how many miles were on the first one and what happened to it...ive never had any issues with mine at all...first engine still at 80k pullin strong...
his time attack spec is sweet but that unlimited budget isnt happening for me...but over time i want to get a nother car and keep this as a project just a really strong rebuild with good internals and turbo...simple buts its gonna be pricey
