I will have the street closed. I have contacted a lot of area car clubs. We sent out a press release to the news media and I emailed all the radio stations and asked them to plug it. This is on about 50 message boards, hemmings and other car show sites. Should be a great event and we should raise a lot of money for these people. Thanx, Ray

wow - great idea, if only gas reserves weren't being used for a cruise... i hear the president has asked people not to drive if not absolutely necc... i don't mean to second guess this- it's a really good idea- maybe i could be one of the collectors?

Mostly local people, we won't use as much gas as those going to the shore!!!!

I will have a Phila Polce detail which will allow you to park trailers next door in KMart and drive you untaged race car around the block or you can unload here and park your rig in KMart!!!

I'd definitely come if I wasn't leaving for Baltimore tomorrow. However, wouldn't it make more sense to just have a "get together" or show instead of a cruise and not waste the gas while trying to raise money?

i would tend to agree, but i think the event is pretty well set at this point and the info is out there- it looks like the route will not be too long- just around those blocks i would guess... i am going to try to be one of the collectors or just go and donate... its a great thought and i will be supportive-

Ok, I'ts called a cruise but it's really not. You cruise down here and park. It's a get together.

The driving around the block is for the trailered race cars that will park their trailers next door in KMart and drive around the block to get into the event. There will be no cruising!!!!
