So, so, so tempting. If there's no other monsoons this week & all spots aren't taken by then, I shall have to bring the beater integra to, well, beat on. Didn't get enough on-road use out of the snow tires this season

Edit: two hours from me...bah. I'll catch the next one.

blkZ06 03-10-2008 11:12 PM

Okay.

That's 5 minutes from my folks, and although RWD will be fun, I'd prefer not to ruin the suspension any more than it is. Hmmmm.

06njsti 03-11-2008 12:28 PM

yea i might come out if i can drive my jeep. my sti is slammed and would bottom out everywhere in the pines.

Kerplunk105 03-11-2008 12:32 PM

All makes are welcome. :)

cburwell 03-11-2008 01:52 PM

I'll probably be down. It's probably going to rain Saturday so my plans to work on the Sentra this weekend are shot.

Do you have an address for the meeting spot?

scutzi128 03-11-2008 01:58 PM

What is this a dirt road?

I was thinking of bringing my SAAB, but you reminded me that my little brother has a Jeep and he's at school right now.

I'm in unless something comes up. Kerplunk, let's meet up in the morning and caravan.

I found these GPS coordinates to Atsion:

Directions to Atsion
39°44.486(N) 74°43.552(W)

If you could still provide and address to the exact meeting spot, that would be cool.

Just for those thinking on bringing 2wd vehicles. You might wanna reconsider. Today Liz and I went back to check out some other paths and we found a pretty long one about an hour each way since it does end at a bridge out with a round about to turn around. Well back to the point, there were some bodies of water that were even hard for the subaru to forge across. I highly recommend ziptieing (sp) any item that may comes loose like fog light covers, also most of the time we were on this path the Subaru was acting like a snow plow for the sand. We would like to find paths to suit everyone, so we may just take another trip back to find a better path more friendly to 2wd vehicles.

Kerplunk105 03-11-2008 09:45 PM

As Nick said above, I do not recommend anything but AWD vechiles going on this run.

Updated first post.
