Thinking about getting an RSX

Ok, so ive been part of the maxima community for about 3 years, and i think at the end of this upcoming summer its time to move on to something different.

In June maxima.org is having about 25 maximas participate in Hot Import Nights in NY, after that i will start getting set to sell my car.

I was looking at different cars. I fell in love with the TL, but found out that with a sweet lookin ride comes a problem, apparently the tranny goes every 30 000 miles. F THAT!

So i saw the RSX type S, I heard 4 cylinder Acuras are good.

So ware they actually reliable cars?

What do u guys think?>

Thanks.

I hate the search.

Linkage Dave?

why is the reliability question always asked. a car will treat you the same way you treat it. if you are nice to it and give it checkups and scheduled maintenance then you will have a reliable car. if you neglect the car, it will leave you stranded, its as simple as that. An RSX is no different, buy one, keep it up to date and you'll be fine. and you could do your homework with a few searches as well..honda-tech.com is a good place to start.

you could check into used evo's...they sell for around 20k. You just have to be very careful who you buy it from. A lot of evo's tend to be abused

I test drove an rsx-s... I wasn't impressed.

The interior is definitely nice though

What do you want out of it? Show car / drag car / track car / autocross car / dd? Because you have a lot of options here, and a car that's good one place might not be good in another.

And please don't say show car.

how much do u wanna spend, only u can decide what kind of car you want, we can sit here all day listing cars and sure you will like alot of them, but would you want to spend your money on them?
