Lethal Injection...

anyone else following this?

http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/stl...ts_its_day.php

there is a article incase you have no idea what im speaking of.

basically there are 3 injections in lethal injection. the first is suppose to knock you out(like during surgeries), the second to basically paralyze all of your muscles, and the last stops your heart. what they are arguing is that if the first one isnt administered correctly the person is awake but completely immobilized while they go through the pain of dieing. i say f it and let them feel it. i mean these people took anoher persons life in most of the cases. why should they get any mercy?

If they were without a hint of doubt guilty, let them feel it.

SovXietday 01-09-2008 10:49 PM

Right, because bullets and knives are painless.

**** em, I want the electric chair back.

ThePrimerSuspect 01-09-2008 11:48 PM

firing squad. at least thats how i wanna go

igo4bmx 01-09-2008 11:57 PM

the first injection- are there errors alot with one that "knocks you out like in sugery"? if that was the case, would people who had surgery complain they felt all the pain during it?

ThePrimerSuspect 01-10-2008 12:17 AM

question...............
how does anyone know that they are completely awake but immobilized? how does the person tell anyone if they are immobilized and then they are dead in a few minutes?

dragonfly2k3 01-10-2008 12:25 AM

There would be no way of them telling anyone that they were immobilized but sensitive. However, there have been reported cases of this occuring during surgery. Where the patient can feel the entire surgery but cant move to say anything. Also, firing squad would truly be almost un-painful.

If they are 100% guilty, IE more than 3 people saw that they see you do it, do the 6 man, 5 bullet, one blank firing squad.

ThePrimerSuspect 01-10-2008 01:21 AM

not really. if i was on a firing squad, depending on what the conviction was for, i may be inclined to hit a leg or the lower torso. as im sure others would too. maybe reload 2 or 3 times.

i always had the "eye for an eye" opinion. Like if some guy raped and stabbed some innocent girl...they should take a broom handle and shove it up the dudes ass, then stab him to death. If someone puts another innocent person through torture, why should the murderer get the easy way out...**** that, they should feel it.

assault187 01-10-2008 02:20 AM

I also say let them feel it! Although it would fall in the cruel and unusaul catagory. They have spent the last 10 years or longer in a jail cell locked down for horrendous crimes agaist humanity, I think they can deal with a bit of pain after one of the best meals of their lives. They should have had better judgment before they took a life.

I think its rediculous...didnt read the article but your summary so I may be missing something here, but I remember robin williams said something about it in his standup

"they give you an alchol swab before the lethal injection" like "sir we dont want you to get that last second infection"

so stupid..they killed someone, but we have to be nice to them...i remember that "innocent supra driver killed" when the guy hit him headon on purpose nad they took him to the hospital...**** that let him die there like the piece of **** he is

I'll say it again....BRING BACK PUBLIC HANGING!!!. They should absolutely feel pain, and it should be on display for the world to see.

I'm sick of hearing about criminals rights. This country is run by a bunch of panzies. Somehow i don't think these people were too concerned about their victims when they were commiting crimes. WE need to be killing off more of these people ..not less.

They're criminals they shouldn't have any rights!

Public hangings are weak, let the families stone them.

dragonfly2k3 01-10-2008 09:59 AM

let draw and quarter that a-holes! that'll show em!

I say +1 for stoning.

I bet 80% of people in prisons are better off then they were before they went it and its all on hard working America's dime. Its a know fact that prisons are way over crowded and people searving a lesser offense are usually required to do like weekends or something dumb.

Kill people who kill, let the others serve their time.

On a different side of the story I know somebody who has a bumper sticker that reads "Why do we kill people who kill people to show that killing is wrong?"
