5 car theives arrested

I saw on the news last night that five teenaged car thieves were arrested for stealing over 20 cars. Anybody know anything about this? i only saw it on the scroll at the bottom of the screen, i didn't catch the actual story. Good chance they are responsible for some of the "car stolen" threads on here.

Possible but I doubt it. There are so many people that steal cars it is redic.

hahaha come on man the last thing i need is someone breaking into my car out front my house again, trying to steal it. I dont even live in a bad neighborhood to begin with. Then my neighbors will really think im crazy. Do you think there really going to believe me when i try to tell them that my car, that looks like a delorean from back to the future with its flip up head lights, was broken into and attempted to be stolen out front my house the night before? NO LOL

SovXietday 12-31-2007 02:29 AM

Yeah don't listen to me, I'm just bitter because my car is probably on a few theives lists. :/

My bro's accord was stolen and my civic was broken into in less than 2 weeks. I wonder if it was them

i know a " Retired" car thief they don't steal the cars from in the city they go to suburbs b/c usually no alarm and it's quiet so they can spot it from afar no traffic and roll up pop hood and tow it to an area where they can start it.. also might want to move batt 2 trunk since a subwoofer magnet can screw up battery polarity as to where your alarm will not go off.

just some pointers 4 yall

Huh?

Move the battery to the trunk near a sub woofer magnet.... to reverse or alter thhe polairty, so that the alarm DOESNT work?

Err???? :bigeek:

I think what he was trying to say that if you keept the battery in the stock location they can use a subwoofer magnet to screw with the polarity. By putting the battery in the trunk, chances are they will assume that the battery is in the factory location and the magnet trick won't work.
