Remember though that the force of deployment is so violent because they deploy BEFORE you hit them. If an airbag were to deploy INTO your face it would snap your neck. We had to watch training footage of a firefighter hit by a deploying airbag. Cracked his ribs and threw him over 4 feet from the car.

Yeah, those bad boys go off with 200 lbs of force, and if it goes off into you rather than before you hit it, you're in for a world of hurt.

But you shouldn't have done that, airbags are acutally worth a lot of money! Couple hundred easy.
