WOW!!! That is an insane overclock. Not for your average user because it uses liquid nitrogen to cool it, but its still awesome!

Some of you may care, others have no idea what I am talking about.

I care, as that sounds impressive, but I still have no clue of what you are talking about!

So say my laptop is 2.7 ghz, is that the same rating level?

Yes same rating. Except this is also a quad core chip.

They had a single core prescott up to over 6 ghz over 2 years ago, but with a quad core thats pretty damn nice

Prescotts were different, they clocked really high but still didn't do much much, kinda like a high revving Honda. A Yorkfield this high is more like a NASCAR engine.

Thank you George...I couldn't have put it much better. And much like an F1 car, this setup will also need to be torn down every time you use it, and is probably not possible to daily drive it.
