Wow what a night.

About 10 minutes ago I just got done filing a police report about an attempted theft on my Integra.

I was taking a piss and heard a door being shut. I thought it was just the neighbors but took a look outback anyways. I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me but I saw my light on in my car and a head with a hat on.

HOLY ****! So I hurry up and go out the front door to hurry up and confront the theif, and do so rather steathly. I scream to my g/f who is asleep before I exit. I come up to my car and see that the thief is trying to take my CD player. I pull my knife and ask the gentleman if I can help them with anything.

He attempts to run and I tackle him immediatley and put him in some what of a chokehold. He attempts to get himself free and I put the hold on as strong as I possibly can. He shakes himself free by biting me and then all of a sudden a gun shot and a big scream. My g/f is standing there with a .357 (our home protection) pointing directly at the theif.

After everything settled down a bit I realized my g/f just shot the theif right in the knee cap. He wouldn't stop screaming, but in about 10 minutes time the neighborhood was outside. I look at the thief and am immediately shocked on what I see. A familiar face, we were best friends back in 5th grade.

I couldn't believe it, I just sat down by my car and him and asked what the **** was going on. "God Damnit Jonas, what the **** are you doing". He looked at me with a blank stare and realized who I was, and started apologizing.

They took him away immediately and we will be further questioned on Friday. They did not question whatsoever about him being shot since she said she was protecting me.

So now I am sitting here with one hell of a bite mark on my forearm and explaining to a car site, what the **** just happened.

I'm going to bed, hopefully when I wake up this is all just a dream

i don't know much about the law, but i find it hard to believe that the cops didn't even question the wife shooting the theif. then again, it might depend on the state (this was in ohio) but i would still imagine that they would have to take her in for questioning. maybe i am wrong, though.

That is crazy, glad you and the girl are OK. Theif got just what he deserved, hopefully he learned his lesson.
