Why do I have to wait to search?

It's really annoying. I only have so much time to search for something, I don't want to wait 30 seconds if I make a typo or can't find what I want on the first try. AHHHH!

It's to prevent DoS attacks and server spamming by sending multiple queries.

How come other forums with more members and more traffic don't have a search time limit?

Because they aren't thinking about the DoSing or server spamming that could happen.

It's not only to prevent the above mentioned, but it can also cause a forum to run slower.

Other forums might not have either because they don't care, or they might pay more money and have better hosting.

I think we all know that TST has been having server issues quite frequently.
