New best in the vette
 

I was going to take the T/A until the needing a re-tune issue lol, so I just couldn't pass up the good weather and took the vette down. All she's got is a tune and an intake.

I got 3 runs in because of all the breaking :( and my last run I spun like crazy.

I had a blast finally racing again :) I was going to be happy if I got a 12.7 and bam I did. I'm hoping with DRs I'll be in the 12.6s

Thanks, but the computer does all the shifting for me lol. I'm still on the stock run-flats

ohh nevermind, I didn't realize it was not a z06. I saw CE and figured it was the CE z06.

thats what i thought. i thought all the CE cars were Z06's.

Nah, not all of them were Z06s. The Z06 was the only one that got the carbon fiber hood though. They made about 2200 coupes, verts, and Z06s with the CE package bringing the total around 6400-6600 CEs made.

congrats man, i was behind you in line at one point. i wanted to race a vette last night to see how far back i would be. i got to race one, but it wasnt a great run, even tho i think i kept up decently.

i didn't see you there. I only got one run in on the bike, i got pissed how busy/how much crap was breaking so i left.

I talked to Dave in the burn out box and he said you guys were there. I was sitting in the grandstands when I saw you and Tom jones walk to the concession stand. ;)

should have yelled, lol. it was FREEZING cold goin through the traps on the bike let me tell you.

hmm, thats cool. whats different in the CE cars, just the paint?? my buddy has the Z06 version, but he couldnt tell me anything other than the CF hood.

Paint, badges, hood(Z06), rim center caps, interior color, seats, and some have stripes. It's the only year they produced a C5 vette in Lemans blue :cool:
