Can a cop just open my door???
I got pulled over for speeding and the cop came like speed walking up and ripped my door open immediatly and started yelling in my face and calling me a A$$hole and etc. Is he really allowed to open my door without a warrant or my permission??? I thought that was absolutly ridiculous what he did. Thanks in advance.

Tell me alittle more about why your were stopped and I can better judge your incident. |
i was speeding down a road with a 55 mph speed limit and i would say somewhere in the range of 80-90. I was kind of just out for a ride at 11 at night. I noticed i missed the turn and made a right at the next light and pulled into the next parking lot to turn around and here comes the cop barreling in the lot. At that time i knew what happened and shut my car off. He came running out the car and ripped my door open. pretty much the usual after that. He asked me why i think he pulled me over and i told him that i was speeding. I am not a liar even when it comes to that. I think he kind of gave me a break in the end. At first he said he was going to hit me with everything. At the end he came up to me and said he ran out of tickets and gave me only 2.

Man did i get a break on my tickets... I got there and he said he would dismiss the registration because i just didn't sign it, and he would get rid of the wreckless driving. So we get into court and its my turn so i go up and the officer says "I would like to dismiss the wreckless and regisstration". The judge says "Anything else?" The officer said "3011a" and the judge said ok. As soon as I heard those words I was like wow. I just got a hell of a second chance and have pretty much learned my lesson. We were bullsh*ting and he said he did that cause he busted my balls so much on the stop. I thanked him and had a smile from ear to ear. so instead of like 500 and 6 points, I left with only a 75 dollar fine
