hmm... another file sharing program shut down. welp, guess it's time for someone else to copy the code, create an identical program, change the name, and run it for two more years  .

busting file sharing groups is lame. instead of copyright infringement, these government agencies should be focusing their efforts elsewhere, it's not like we're short on worldwide problems after all.

granted, it's musicians' property, and blah blah blah, and yeah i wouldn't like it if noone actually bought my music and whatnot, but when it all comes down to it, there's no file sharing going on when these bands collect huge paychecks based on concert sales, sponsor advertising, etc. sharing is still getting names out there.

i dunno, i know you were just letting us know and everything, but to me this is such an annoying occurance. kinda gets old hearing about all this crime fighting against people who just want to listen to music.

I use Demonoid.

Once again another reason why I don't use these P2P programs or torrents.

This site has been closed as a result of a criminal investigation by IFPI, BPI,
Cleveland Police and the Fiscal Investigation Unit of the Dutch Police (FIOD ECD) into suspected illegal music distribution.

A criminal investigation continues into the identities and activities of the site's
users.

I've been using it for 6 months. Downloaded like 10 gigs of music. Come find me European investigatiors! :cyberguy:

*sigh* File swapping with gawd knows who across the net, downloading torrents that have downloaders/downoads tracked through trackers is all stupid...what ever happened to downloading things off the internet...http://?

S4toSTI 10-23-2007 09:52 PM

nono my friend, you can snag anything you want off of myspace music with the firebug plugin. very easy if you're looking at the html function. and you do it while playing the song so you already have a download cookie :P
